School Sport Houses
Sports houses play a crucial role in promoting healthy competition, teamwork, and a sense of belonging in our Rabaul International School community. They provide a platform for our students to engage in various sporting events and activities, fostering camaraderie, school spirit, and a strong sense of identity. The naming of the sports houses after prominent mountains not only adds a unique element to the school's sports culture but also celebrates the natural beauty and geographical significance of the region.
Our School Sports Houses are:
· Tavurvur – Red House
· Varzin – Yellow House
· Kabiu – Blue House
· Vulcan – Green House
Through friendly rivalries and house competitions, students learn the value of collaboration, discipline, and determination, creating a vibrant and inclusive sports culture within our private school.
Students compete in annual Inter-House Competitions such as the:
· Cross-country Carnival
· Athletics Carnival
· Independence Games
· Fun Day Games
And also actively participate in the following inter-school tournaments;
· PNC SOCCER Academy
